Join the CalMoto and Tri-Valley Moto team as they take to the dirt in a unique RawHyde Adventure!

On Friday, October 21st, I will be travelling down south to attend Rawhydes Intro to Adventure, Next Step and Journey to Base Camp Alpha, training courses.

I am hoping that we can get 6-8 of you to join us for this fun adventure and I will lead a group ride down to Rawhyde arriving in time for the Friday afternoon start. We will take part in the combined Intro to Adventure & Next Step course and then on Monday, those of us who can will stay for the Journey to Base Camp Alpha which should be a fun and exciting way to put our newfound skills to work!

While I have done my fair share of off road riding on big bikes this will be my first time at Rawhyde and I am really looking forward to spending a few uninterrupted days working on my skills. This opportunity comes just in time as we at Cal and Tri-Valley are in the planning stages for a couple of very exciting dual sport rides this coming spring and fall in the Sierra's. What better way to get the most out of your GS, Tiger or Adventure than rawhide training and riding with us!

The Intro to Adventure - Friday, October 21st - Monday, October 24th
The most popular course at RawHyde. Designed to help inexperienced off-road riders to handle their machines in the dirt. Riders will be exposed to just about every type of terrain found off-road, and learn via more than 25 off-road lessons. This course is ideal for those new to the world of Adventure-Touring, and for "self-taught" off-road riders who want to hone their skills.

The Next Step - Friday, October 21st - Monday, October 24th
Designed for those that wish to take their off-road skills to the next level. The Next Step Course curriculum contains more sand, hill climbs, descents, and other seat-puckering obstacles than you can shake a spoke at!

Journey to Base Camp Alpha - Monday, October 24th - Tuesday, October 25th
This is perfect opportunity to solidify your newfound skills in the Real World. Riders will leave the RawHyde facility and head North, Skimming the foothills through the Mojave Desert, tackling various off-road obstacles and ending up at RawHyde's Base Camp Alpha. After a night of food and camping, we will head back to the RawHyde Ranch, again taking on the desert terrain.
